Time permiting I'm going to list various SA Marvels, mainly lower grade books, including JIM, X-Men, TOS, Iron Man, TTA and maybe some Avengers.
-
hiya Arex.
I don't get around here much. Its nice to see a friendly face when I do.
-
Kudos to Nick for super sweet OO Iron Man comics shipped promptly and safely. Just like everyone else says, the comics looks sweeter than the grades would indicate! I love me sum IM 70 cover!
edited to add:
For those not aware, these are Flaming Telepath's sweet books

kudos to Rodey for a few sweet BA Iron Man and Avengers comics

Kudoes to awe4one
I just got my books today from Jim... AWSOME!! Packed ridiculously well and graded right on. Truly great experience.
-
Kudos to ComicX for completing his first forum deal with me!
Payment made on time, he let me know when he got the package, etc!
This is especially significant due to the abuse he was taking. Glad everything went smooth!

Very Sweet
Too bad its not for sale

The Kudos thread is a nice start but I would think some running tally needs to be implemented if it can. It is hard to page through to check a person's kudos in that format.
-
Wow, I love that Cap.
Here is another Marvel I picked up at FX this pat weekend.
MutantKeys will be along shortly to post a ' ' .
I'll beat him to it!
-
Major Kudos to GAcollectibles for some sweet TOS and one lone Warlock!! All grades as described.
One extra note is that he packaged them so bullet proof, that even though the outer box was damaged in shipping (a big hole was knocked into it) his inner packaging kept everything damage free.
You tha man!!

39 WTB new threads over the last week.
154 in the last month.
You guys think that is enough for its own forum?
NO
I would expand on your reasons for wanting to keep it as one forum if you'd like your thoughts to get serious consideration.
Thanks,
Arch
ok Arch, I saw someone post "yes" and I thought you were just asking for a raising of the hands so to speak.
Basically I'm an advocate for status quo in this case. In my opinion most WTB are not long standing requests and they usually get filled within a day or two. The people who have your book for sale respond very very quickly in my experience so there really isn't a need for bumping it.
The long standing wish lists Mutant Keys mention are better off being placed in your signature line for everyone to see whenever you post.
Don't create yet another forum that will get very little traffic like the Ebay/dealer section. I hardly ever visit that area.
Just my $0.02
I know that the forum would get significant traffic. To relate it to ebay/dealer section is like apples and oranges as the WTB section is forum specific and the ebay/dealer section is not.
Many WTB posts are never ending like Bronty's and he just keeps bumping his Barks requests. My WTB post I would love to bump every so often, but I don't want to clog the main page up.
Hey I'm not STRONGLY opposed or anything. You could be right.
However, one thing that could happen (and this is no slam to you dealer types) is that this new WTB section becomes frequented more and more by dealers with high prices rather than the sweet forum pricing we have come to love from our fellow collectors who would frequent this area less. I would not be a fan of that.

Kudos to BuckeyeChaos (again)! Just got the nicest 7.0 book I think I've ever seen. (It's trying SO hard to be an 8.0) Really nice book Thanks to my Tales of Suspense dealer =)
I knew you'd like that one. Presents better than 7.0 for sure! Super quick payment and great forumite.
also knows plenty about gaming systems and I've been picking his brain about that

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear. In a single sales thread, each book will have its own post, as opposed to having 20 scans in a single post, which can take forever to load.
Something like this
Post 1) Here are my books for sale, blah blah blah
Post 2) VG copy of Annoying Man 3, $45, with scan
Post 3) VF copy of Annoying Man 9, $100, with scan
etc. etc.
as opposed to
Post 1) Here are my books, VG copy of Annoying Man, scan, VF copy of Annoying Man 9, scan.
Doesn't photobucket's thumbnail scan feature eliminate this problem?
