Suggesting here is the best place!

The registry is still very new and a small team, eventually everything will get added 😄

Yea, its a small team for sure.

I'm hoping they can get moving on some non-TCG stuff sooner rather than later. There is a lot of new non-sports graders coming in even though the market is crappy. CGC seems to have a brief window to get that intake first before PSA builds all the sets.

  2. Lets get going on things besides TCGs. We need to see more non-sports focused sets. Why should all the good sets live in PSA land. CGC should own the fiction world. You have some key Marvel sets, but that's it.

    What about these:

    KEY VINTAGE SETs

    1966 Topps Batman

1977-78 Topps Star Wars Series 1-5 (Base & Stickers)

    KEY MODERN SETs

2008 Topps Star Wars Clone Wars (Base & Foil)

2015 Topps Star Wars Rebels (Base & Foil)

2001 Panini Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone Stickers

2001 Panini Harry Potter Illustrated Stickers

2008 Play Ground Maniacs The Dark Knight Stickers

    Hi,

Thanks for your enthusiasm for non-sports card sets in the registry!  We have plans to release Star Wars sets, however, a date has yet to be determined.

Is there a way to request new sets to put them on your radar? or is that up to the sole discretion of cgc?

  4. Is there an ETA for other key non-sports sets outside of the TCG world? There are quite a few key card sets that should be added ... in particular Star Wars to start, just for an example.

    1977 Star Wars Series 1, 2, 3, 4

    1978 Star Wars Series 5

2005 Star Wars Rebels Base / Rainbow Foil

2008 Star Wars Clone Wars Base / Rainbow Foil

Really need to get to some of the important non-TCG sets.

    Cgc,

I sent in 34 CSG 9.5 cards to be reordered in new CGC 10 holders. When I got them back they were all still 9.5 in the CGC holders. Please contact me in regards to this matter please. Matt K.

They have to be "GEM Mint" 9.5's ... just in case you have normal "Mint" 9.5's .... they won't upgrade to 10s unless they are GEM.

Hello @Rocky6423, thank you for contacting us. I see that your order is currently in the queue to be graded. Most Economy trading card orders will take about 20 business days to be completed and sent back to you. This means that you might not see any updates on the status until it is your order's turn in the queue when it then moves to grading. As for payment, we do take the payment for orders once we have verified the cards. The only time we take the payment after the order is completed is if the customer's card initially declined when we tried to take the payment the first time. When this happens, we still process the order as normal but we wait to ship it until the payment is made in full.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!

Got any references on that 20 day turn around? I'm waiting on several 8 week orders right now.

SGC looking really nice as they adjust their pricing.

  7. CGC Turn around times were good for about 5 minutes in June. I got a bulk order turned around in two weeks. Everything since has been trash, I have two bulk orders out from early July "waiting to be graded".

SGC pricing is coming around and they blow away CGC in turn around time. Looks like CGC may be choking away their chance to become a big player.

  8. I recently acquired a set of foil non-sports cards from 2015. They appeared to have been stored very nicely and will likely contain a lot of 9s and 10s. However, the entire set being stored together in a nice plastic set box has curled over the years. When placing a card face down on the table, the center of the card will be raised off the table maybe 8th of an inch; this is very consistent throughout the entire set which makes me think this is standard foil curl and not humidity or poor storage, definitely not "man made" damage.

The cards really do seem pack fresh and I am contemplating grading an entire set of around 100, so I am trying to determine how CGC treats such curling. ANY thoughts (good or bad) would be appreciated! Thanks in advance...
