I have asked elsewhere, and asking for a friend who has had booths at some cons and is artist with commissions, who wants to know how to be recognized by CGC to have a "yellow label" name? I haven't been able to get a clear answer or in most cases any answer
-
I have seen many threads asking how to do this but none of the answers were clear. Can anyone please give direction here?

the "from the Collection of" titles are extremely rare, and I can say that in the case of Doug Moench, he kept 2-3 copies of every one of his books when they were published, until such time a few years ago when he decided to let CGC and their certified agents go through his personal collection that he kept in his home and certify them as such.

I didn't know Jim Shooter was also an artist.
Anyone know when the Miller Janson Signing is taking place?
I'm fairly certain it already has. I saw some videos on their Facebook page of the signing IIRC.

Again, I'm playing catch up here, but here's the thing, when a Signature required is on a package that package CANNOT be delivered without a Signature, so someone had to sign for that package. The driver will not be able to release the package without a Signature unless the driver either signed it themselves and left it or manually typed in the number, then changed the 3 digit code that will switch the package from Signature required to release. It's a shady way of doin it. It's like that so a customer can call in if they decide to change the delivery from Signature required to release.
Read this thread. Since COVID they've been doing this all the time. I have had more than half of my sig required boxes left on my doorstep.

I see the distinction you are making here McRib - if a comic can be confirmed to exist only as a limited signed variant edition then by definition any sole signature on a confirmed non-counterfeit copy must be valid. But as Namor says, can any book be confirmed to have only signed copies in existence?
To which book are you referring, out of interest? You must have one in mind.
The 1:1000 BZRKR variant #1 signed by Reeves BOOM Comics is releasing
-
Look man, I get if it's a random sig. What I am saying is that ALL COPIES of this variant are signed. I would think they would confirm the variant is the variant but not with a "Yellow Label"
-
So if a comic company releases a rare variant like 500:1 where all copies of this variant are signed by the author, how does CGC handle verification of signature? Or is it Blue Label and remarked that this variant is signed by Joe Author?

It has been almost a week since the box shows signed for but my comics aren't showing under My Submissions.

Several of the signature series signings being offered are offering the options of adding an inscription or a quote or both. Can somebody please explain to me what an inscription is versus a quote? Like if I have Antont Starr inscription what do i get vs a Starr quote?
Has the Rob Liefeld signing taken place at CGC yet?

I dropped off my comic for the Liefeld signing at SDCC and it still hasn't shown up in my account yet, so I REALLY hope this signing hasn't occurred yet.
