  1. Yeah, I found it quite odd. I'm not sure if it's the severity of the defects, or the dollar amount, or what. Was hoping maybe somebody else knew for sure.
  2. Yeah I would definitely worry about it being a slashed green/ yellow if you got it reholdered or a sig added. I might have to ask CGC about this. That's funny it's the same page missing lol.
  3. There seems to be some of that going around. I got back a WoS #1 9.6, sold it last week, and when it arrived at the customer's place today, the bottom was all kinds of damaged (see pic). A week before that, another customer got his Invincible #1. It graded 9.4. When it got to him, the top was eaten up. The invincible customer said the inner well is completely loose, and the book is moving around in the well to boot. The WoS guy says his moves, nothing crazy, but apparently enough to chew up the bottom of the book 🤔 So I wouldn't be absolutely shocked if there was spine damage instead in someone else's book, as it seems to only be affecting one side of the books in question.
  4. I guess it's about time I dropped my bi-annual art pics lol. Here's a couple covers I finished recently, as well as some of my cardboard remarks (just little 5-10 min 'thank you' sketches on cardboard packaging when someone buys some art from me). Hope you like them!
  5. I, in my infinite wisdom, decided to necro this thread to bring you this....ASM #1& #2 CGC 0.5, Qualified Labels. I googled and searched through the forums to find out more about this practice, but I can't find anything and this was one of the more recent threads on the subject. I guess on very high dollar books, a Qualified label will be given when there's a significant defect(s)? Or maybe I missed some kind on announcement about this at one point. Anywho, just thought it was funny and I'd share.
  6. Since we're sharing some Spawnuary entries, this was mine, Scorched in the Battle of Troy
  7. We're not allowed to promote other grading companies here, but there is an option for this beyond CGC. Google is your friend.
  8. Been awhile since I posted anything here, so here's a few, including a custom shortbox
  9. My artist account has been down since yesterday- account #S40977AA
  10. Thanks for the info. I will adjust accordingly. Appreciate it!
  11. Bought a stack of ASMs this week, decided to do a revison on a mid-grade 282 today for fun
  12. Probably 75% of the books I've gotten back in the last 6 months have either had significant Newton rings, scratches on the case, or both. I don't bother sending them back, just takes too much time/ effort.
  13. Mine just moved to GEI today so hopefully you see some movement on yours soon as well
  14. Both De La Rosa subs have shipped Both sigs and remarques of Last Ronin are now GEI Suayan is GEI Only Jock left now, seen alot of movement the last week
