  1. Sunday, would like to generate some cash, probably to buy some Adams books. I'll list some CGC'd: New Funnies with Woody Woodpecker, Fritzi Ritz (with Peanuts inside) and some Nancy and Sluggos (also Peanuts). Hope someone needs some random high grade Funny books
  2. No mislabel. Charles Schulz never did any PEANUTS work for comic books. Despite having his name on them, they were all done (stories & art) by Dale Hale. Same thing with Batman/Detective comics from the 50'5 & 60's being "signed" by Bob Kane. and know we know! Thanks.
  3. can I ask where you got those from? Incredible find!!
  4. hmmm...Overstreet says Schultz cover only...I am not sending it back! Also, I just looked at the 8.5 scan and it says Schults cover. I am still not sending it back.
  5. Wonderful! the only thing that get's me is that I owned a raw 878, had it CGC'd (8.5) and then sold it when I thought I was getting out of the hobby... It is to this day the highest graded at 8.5!!!! I thought this had a chance at an 8.5. Still this is a pedigree, nicely cut and mine!!!!
  6. I have a raw undercopy, about fine/fine +. I would probably sell it if I could find a "reader copy".
  7. here's a brand new, for me, 10 center...
  8. My Peanuts collection may be done before my Adams collection.
  9. sitting on my desk when I got to work!!!
  10. I am close to 200 Adams covers!!! and these are straight from Norman!!!
  11. Neal Adams daughter was drawn on the cover of HOM 186 (Pan Story). He often submitted many ideas on his own. Rejected covers for Phantom Stranger and HOM. Also, check out this blog. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/herocomplex/neal_adams/ "When I stopped by, Mannarino had just paid $115,000 for a full 22-page story drawn by Adams and inked by the brilliant Berni Wrightson. Yes, you read that number right. "And someone has already offered me a $140,000 for it," Mannarino said, clearly torn about whether to part company so quickly with such a rare find. "It's the only time Wrightson ever inked Adams, I believe," Mannarino said of the issue, "Green Lantern" No. 84, circa 1971. (The purchase did not include the cover, which is pictured above, but I love the work of Adams so much i thought I would share it with you.)" Very cool, I'll have to pick this book up. I love these boards, always learning more.
  12. You have to love that cover. Do you think they (DC) guided Neal and Bernie about what to put on the covers or did they just tell them, " be yourselves and draw something great"?
  13. You are right! I missed the Rosa copy last year and waited and waited for this to come. It is incredible in hand, perfect cut and great price, sweet. I can't find the issue that takes it from 9.8 to 9.6, might have to call for graded notes.
  14. thank you!!!! I have no idea what to go after next.....
  15. the only time I ever posted a book before I actually had it, I ended up never recieving it. I'll not tempt the fickle fates again. Until then....
  16. whooaa very nice. I need one of those. care to guess a grade???
  17. this is a fanzine called Collage from 1970, I think it is issue 12. Mostly comic book dealers, lots of for sale lists and few comic strips. Incredible to see what was for sale and at what price.
  18. Trying to get rid of my raw collection in bulk. 5,000 to sell in books and magazines. I would love to get rid of my magazines first. Have many Creepy, Eerie and Heavy Metal magazines. Anyone want to do a bulk buy? Probably 100 issues all together. Otherwise I will begin listing magazines and graphic novels: Marvel Graphic Novel: Capt. Marvel, Dreadstar, New Mutants, X-Men Hard Boiled, Frank Miller: 1-3 Rascals in Paradise: 1-3 Vamperilla: 33, 34, 63 Caveman: 1 a Distant Soil: 1, 2 (2 copies), 5 Elfquest: 16 (2 copies) A Distant Soil: Immigrant Song Fortune's Friend: Hell Week (art by Collen Doran) Lost Girls: Book One - ALan Moore Frank Frazetta: Fantasy Illustrated 1-8 also l have a run of Moon Knight 1-35, avg grade VF and Amazing Spider-man: 253-255, 257-264, 266-286 avg grade: nm/nm+ (I got the 252 CGC'd at 9.8 and I am sending the 265 for a 9.8/9.9!)
