  1. I am trying to get my Pro 1 signed and graded for this event, but am having trouble creating the order. I tried searching for "pro 1", but it brings up too many results, and only shows me the first 50, which all start with "a". My book isn't there. I also tried using the "I can't find my comic book" link to add the info by hand, but it removes the custom label that comes with the signing.

    Any advice?

    Hello,

Because you did write letters on the outside of the box it would have been delivered to our CGC Signature Series department. However we currently are showing high volumes of packages that were delivered for the George Perez signing that are still being received into the system. Because of this our signature series team is still running a little behind on receiving all In House Signing invoices into the system.

Do you know what date they were delivered on?

    Delivered on January 31st

  3. I sent in two packages for the Last Ronin crew signing. At the time of shipping, I couldn't find anywhere on the forms that said what initials to write, so I wrote "LRC" on both (for Last Ronin crew). They were delivered about 20 days ago, but still don't show up under my submissions. I have sent an e-mail and made a phone call about it, since I now see I was supposed to write "TLR". I haven't heard anything back, and am a bit worried. Am I just SOL at this point?

i know if A CGC person doesn't witness the signing take place you get a green label . it says "someone wrote on this book in marker" so if you wanted to sell it it actually hurts the value of the book. if its to preserve it for you , go get after it

    ? It's a CGC signing.

  5. These are going to be VERY basic n00b questions, and I'm sure there is a pinned thread or link that I am just completely missing, but... I just did two SS event submissions, and these will be my first CGC submissions ever, and I had a couple of questions about shipping, to make sure I get everything 100% on my end.

    1. Where do I ship these to? There was no label or address with my packing slips, other than my own.

    2. What shipping company/service is recommended?

    3. Do I need to write anything special on the package for signature events?

And finally, I think I know the answer already, but let's see if I can save some dollars: 4. If I am sending in for two different signings, can I use the same package?

    Good morning,

Thanks for your message.  All First Appearance notations are made at the discretion of the CGC grading team.  You can always check any book on our CGC Census and see what Key Comments, Art Comments and First Appearance notations are currently made for that book.  If you don't see a First Appearance notation that you think should be made and you would like to request a first appearance update or inclusion to the current label, please include a note along with the book in your submission (post-it on comic bag) and our graders will review and make a determination on that request.

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

  7. Why does CGC not list that this is the 1st appearance of Mister Knight (Mr. Knight)? I understand that it is just another version of Moon Knight, but he does have his own name, and his own comics without Moon (Cates' Doctor Strange being one of them).

At the very least, I would think they would consider this a 1st appearance of a "new costume" (though really, it is a new character).

    Just curious.

  8. Hi everyone! Long time comic reader, first time CGC user!

Just wondering if there is any reason to press a brand new, great looking comic? I'm asking because a lot of people seem to be under the impression you get a better grade when you do it, but it is possible to receive a 9.8 without that, right? I have an older comic I want pressed, but is there any reason for a newer one?
