Just bought an ASM 300 cbcs 9.0 for a great price. The comic surprised me how nice it was. It looks really good, and hasn’t been pressed. The main flaw is the chipped lower left corner (pictured). Do you guys think this 9.0 grade is justified? I was thinking of cracking it, getting it cleaned and pressed and submitted to cgc.
I own an Asm 300 in cgc 9.4, and this 9.0 one looks way better IMO.
Should I bother with clean, press, regrade with cgc, or just leave it?
Does damage like this get penalized harshly?
I was hoping a cgc licensed grader could chime in here. Does this damage smash the hope of this book grading better?
