Personally I much prefer the beefier/dirty sound of BS's mate Southside Johnny and the Dukes. Probably my all time favourite live band...... seen them enough times over the years, plus you don't have to pay mega bucks to see them or sit in some god foresaken Stadium!!

Mahooosive Kudos to Andrew & GAcollectibles. The 80+ horror books were in magic condition and packed to perfection. An absolute star to deal with!

I have spent a while doing some scans...Not up to Sterling's quality, but not too scruffy either!

You've gone and done it again!! Add 51 to 85 of Witching Hour to my want list!! Anyone help me?? High Grade?

There are some great covers in that lot..... in fact, there isn't a poor one is there??

I thought I would show where I am percentage wise of completing a high grade CGC run of these titles...taking a look back at my last 3 years of collecting...I've found Marvel to be infinitely easier than DC....

 

That's an interesting graph Sterling, and gives me an idea of what series there are out there.

As can be seen from my want list below you get a pretty good idea what I am missing in raw copies for my collection in the 2 specific series. I have all the others although I only go as far as #50 in WH.

I was lucky enough to buy some lots from showcase last year and most are really lovely high grade copies. When I get the time, which should be some time in the next 6 Months!!! I will scan and post. Trouble is I am selling off my record collection on ebay at the moment and this takes up a massive amount of my spare time. I have also got about 2000 SA & BA comics at the foot of my bed, my wife is delighted..... NOT! and I keep saying I will get them scanned or photographed so I can list them, but I keep managing to avoid the issue!!

Anyway.... enough talk boys, I would like to see some of the Witching hours after 50. I know some of you will have absolute belters!!

I love #20...mine is a nasty 9.2 with cream pages...but I'll take it until something better comes along.

 

That truly is in a shocking state..... I don't know how you have the audacity to show such a low level, verminous copy as that!! You should be ashamed of yourself!!

I was right though.... it is a great cover, even in that tatty state of repair you can just about make out that it is that good!!

I missed out on the 3 we were talking about tonight, I didn't realise they were so difficult to get. I managed to get my missing 14, 18, 19 & 20 but was too tight with my bids on the other 3, wish I had gone a couple dollars more now!!

Maybe I should post my unslabbed Unexpecteds, I have put some up earlier from camera, but I now have a scanner again. I have almost an unbroken run from 105 to 170 (After just getting 170 from Flaming Telegraph's Mildenhall collection).

I am missing 106, 107, 109 - 111, 160, 162 & 169, so if anyone has high grades of these and they want to sell let me know!!

The ones I do have are nearly all high grade with the odd exception.

Same goes for Witching Hour, but I have a few more gaps there: 1, 4-8, 10, 20, 24, 30, 36, 42 & 43 are missing out of 1 to 50.

I will try and post some at the weekend.
