Isn't it time for CGC to stop calling books from 1975 Moderns?
HotKey replied to shadroch's topic in Comics General
Even 80s stuff like Guns N Roses is played on oldies stations now. No way anything from the 70s is "modern". -

I pulled an edge of spider verse 2 1st print out of a single short box for 5 bucks at a pawn shop. I have better luck asking than looking, many times theres a small stack somewhere behind the counter.

Where in the world was the Quality Control at CGC???
HotKey replied to Wally's Comics's topic in Comics General
I contacted cgc several times about this over the last few months asking if every comic goes through QC or if it is a random spot check and what their plans were to address this. I was finally only told that every single comic has been and currently goes through the QC process. No response was given to how this is being addressed. Take it for what you will. I would have been more relieved I think to find they were only doing spot checks. -

Moderns that are heating up on ebay!
HotKey replied to thirdgreenham's topic in Modern Age Comic Books
I just got these from Penguin Random House, labeled PRH EXC and they are already going for $60-$80 on ebay, I didnt order them. They are Fantastic Four #35 and polybagged with a $9.99 sticker on the back. If these are truly just 1 per account with PRH I expect these are going to keep going up but who knows. -
