Ok I am extremely lost here. I kinda read most of the thread. Someone give me a Cliff's Notes version. You have time to summarize. I have to get ready to go to the gym. I've got my first Muay Thai boxing class. All help would be kindly appreciated.

Thanks to Anthony (Pirate) for getting Sid Haig and Bill Moseley and Jon (jonjesper) for getting J. Scott Campbell to sign my Rob Zombie's Spookshow International #1. They had the book, along with CGC, for almost four months and it's still a 9.8. Thanks so much guys! Now off to the Gene Colan signing.

Things just got really busy.I won't be taking part in the VCC, but I will have two slabs up later tonight for sale: Spirit Special CGC 8.5 White Pages and Spirit #2 CGC 9.4 White Pages for great prices! I will also have some raw books up for sale. -

I'm going to miss the entire VCC.After a few weeks of relative inactivity, I'll be back with a bang this weekend. For the VCC, I'll have a bunch of very early Marvel slabs...FFs, X-Men, Avengers in single digits...a huge batch of Grimm Fairy Tales, including many of the variants and Con specials, and a load of Spirits, including the Northland copy of the Harvey #1 and a complete run of the Warren magazines.
Also for the VCC, I'll hopefully be setting up in the parking lot and running one of my embarrassingly abysmal infamous auctions. If I can be bothered with the arse-ache of writing the text, I should have over 100 Silver & Bronze starting at about 20% of Guide!

Thanks so much.
I know that. But it's listed online as modern. I guess it's just a misprint. This came back with a "Modern" Label. Isn't that the red label? Huh?The Red label was switched to Blue several years ago...
It just means that it is a modern tier (Post 1975) book.
ur welcome...

Well my first submission grades are finally back. I only submitted 3 books and happy with two of the three grades.
The Spirit #2 (Kitchen Sink) bought as a raw 8.5 CGC Grade 9.4 White Pages
Vampirella #34 bought as a 9.2 CGC Grade 9.4 OW/W Pages
The Spirit Special bought as a 9.0/9.2 CGC Grade 8.5 White Pages This came back with a "Modern" Label. Isn't that the red label? Huh?
Not really sure what brought the grade down. It was probably the printing defect on the front cover. Of all three of them, I am only going to keep the Vampirella.I even got that for half of guide as a 9.2.

Richard, I would go ahead and use the same thread. I did that when I had alot of books to sell over a few days. Do a summary of what's left and list what page they are on when you restart the thread and then continue listing new books.Just curious - do you guys care if sellers start a new thread for every new item they are selling, or maybe a new thread for every new day that stuff is listed? The reason I ask is that when I start a thread I usually add stuff over the course of a few days but the items that get added after a thread has a certain amount of pages just don't get viewed. I hate to clutter with a bunch of threads, but I also hate for books to go unseen. -
I just received one grade on three of the books I submitted. I sent in The Spirit #2 from Kitchen Sink and thought I would get a 9.0 or a 9.2. It ended up coming back 9.4 with White Pages. (Bought as an 8.5 from Flaming_Telepath)
The other two books I submitted are now verified and going to get graded soon.
