    for me that stain will drop it to 3.0. I won't go lower as there are really no large pieces missing but the book does have a lot so stuff going on.

    +1 The stains are going to bring it down of course plus the vertical stress along the spine. The bottom staple looks recessed pretty good also and the tearing by that staple seen in the B.C. scan. I'd like to see the centerfold and how strong those staples are holding on the bottom. Still a nice book but I have to agree with Bob 5.5 tops.
