  1. I think it's pretty self explanatory.
  2. there were some great threads here back then, and some wild melt downs, but. The Nik/Piglet flame out to me was the all time classic. It should be made " standard reading " for any newb. I read that thing a dozen times and am in tears every time when he starts with the corn husks as she starts going ape sheet.
  3. Could you imagine if Nik was still around, and even Dice X, Watson, and FT. They would take half these people apart at the seams, and back then the mods would let lots of stuff run till it just exploded. Back then we all took our lumps when we joined. All of us. Nowaday's, you just hump the mod button like a woodpecker on a tree if you don't like something. Life gets in the way lots of times too. I have not been around much the last few years as personal stuff had derailed my life, but I'm still holding on the boards here and there. I might not have posted here about stuff, but always knew I had friends on here to talk with under the radar. I talked to many people on here over the years on the phone, many times. Nothing like chatting with a fellow boardie even just about life in general and personal stuff. I miss a lot of those old guys, hell I don't know if Foolkiller has even been around. I always enjoyed his threads and talking with him at wizard. We even had a long discussion about grading over the phone. Had many discussions with FT, Sean, Dice X, and many more. Sometimes I think you have to go around these boards and open up other types of communication with people too. Alright I'm babbling here. Let me go see whats in the ice box.
  4. I don't know if I'd blame him, but it would be a good place to start looking.
  5. We developed " Creepy " on these boards years ago.
  6. don't know. I'm sending it in so lets see what the pro's say. I just don't personally see it as a 6.0.
  7. that looks like some scary sheet.
  8. we need a thread on cattle mutilations.
  9. I don't think I like that panther running loose with a mask on. I may have to photo shop that cover.
  10. just kidding about the box of drek. book feels real tight in hand and solid. has really nice color the scans don't do justice. I think I'll send it out. I think its a strong 7.0. myself.
  11. Just found this in my box of drek. Book has some stress lines across the top edge and some spine stress lines. Cover and centerfold are very well attached. Very solid interior with nice paper. B.C. is clean. This worth getting slabbed?
  12. If people have all kinds of problems outside of comic purchasing weather personal or financial, you have no business bidding on books. And then back out a transaction minutes after the auction closes. If your monitoring a listing that close to back out, you already know you have no intention of paying. Now I have to go and track some type of huge reptile that has been wrecking havoc in my neighborhood at night with the dog population.
  13. I was thinking the same thing as Point 5. Cover don't seem to match the book. Married or recreation? Top edge looks trimmed to me also. My
  14. would be nice to see full size scans and maybe some info on the inside. centerfold well attached? torn page? inside cover condition? the more info the better.
  15. people get busy or forget. I like to know who got what but I won't lose sleep over.
