Being a long time member has nothing to do with it. We've seen krap like this before with many long time members who never cleared things up and vanished. If he's in over his head with personal stuff ( and we all have personal stuff ) don't be getting upside down with comic deals and listing all your problems and you owe Comic Link or whoever 20K. This guy keeps digging himself a hole with his full page Wall Street ads of text. Just clear the fricking problem up, and go from there. It's that simple.

Well, I can't say about what happens with Comic Link. But once upon a time I was in debt with someone a bit over 20K. I finally came to the next more and cleared the bottles off the table, and realized I'd lost Boardwalk and Park Place. You guy's believe me don't you?

Agreed. Personally, I always hold the payment until I know there is no issue with the buyer. I don’t sell a lot, so it’s easier to do I suppose. Bingo. I never spend a dime until I have heard back from the buyer he's good, then its off to the crack house. And this guys excuse that he owed 20K elsewhere is not acceptable. What a crock of krap. I got a head ache reading this thread but found true value in it what Domo said about writing a check for his next purchase, or kicking himself in the nuts. LOL. This whole list b.s excuses reminded me of this.

I have been super busy with personal stuff, but just read this whole debacle. Really sad how people change their tune when money is involved but we've all seen it before. Also lots of " assumptions " being made here but it looks pretty cut and dry. Greg Reece? I doubt he's even read this story, and maybe he has. This guy is one of the best to deal with, period. I've bought quite a few books from him in Chicago through the years and never had anything but good transactions with him.
