He died and was brought back to life? Why? Why some dude at the bottom of a gorge all smashed up instead of any other dude?
Because he was found and recognized as the accomplice of Captain America. He isn't just some dude, and what could be better than using this weapon against your enemy?
It was also explained in the movie (briefly) that the experiments that the Skull and Zola were performing on Bucky helped him to survive the fall. I don't know how per se but they did reference back to the experimentation that was being done on Bucky post train scene.
I think Cap mentioned this - something to the effect that Bucky's unit had all been captured in 1943 and Zola was experimenting on them - something changed him that allowed bucky to live through the fall into the gorge.

A lot of it has to do with disposable income - Canada's economy has rebounded well following the financial crisis. I know out west we have a younger population that is well paid thanks to the energy and mining sectors (and agriculture is doing very well right now), and with comics being close to/mainstream now the hobby is doing well as a result of this.
i thought greggy sent a check for $1,000 to every Canadian

Holy ....I do not see this often...1st appearance of Prince Hawk Erickson and Windblade Grensleve. Circ - 500 and distributed only in Ottawa; Canada. Barry Blair’s first story with 8 page back-up story The Guardian by Mike Burchill and Don Lanouette.

not that anyone asked but...proportions are ridic...at least its an attempt at a good cover -- i like parts of it but i cant get over the proportions..

Well at least he admitted in the small print way down in the description...I know it's not really a "variant", but for someone who is a true completionist, and with the hype around this issue, it's a must-have in some Zombie Fan's collection!
