Different publishers used slightly different processes and I've seen many slight versions, but the take away is that there are no original pencils or inks on any of that materiel you've posted. They are neat parts of the publication process and have some historical value, but nowhere near what the originals would fetch. 

    Thank you so much! That definitely collaborates what I found out about it albeit not much, I believe these are from the First Publishing Book I. At what part of the process would these likely be? Before the added the colour?

  2. Hi I'm a newbie at collecting comic art and wondered if you guys could help me, originally posted in newbie questions but thought maybe wrong place to put it.

     

    Now before posting I did read up on transparencies and with that asked the seller if the back board/paper had anything on to which he said yes... it looks like a direct transfer from the acetate to the paper and just wanted you opinions if they are original ink drawings from the comic production process or are they just because of age and have printed from the acetate to the paper.

     

    Please let me know and thanks in advance for your help
