A few of my precious Eevees (I have more) and some Shiny Star V pulls, plus a complete Team Rocket Trouble theme deck missing only the card list- even the damage counters are there, unbroken from the cardboard sheet! I'm thinking of getting the Championship Series version of the Indonesian KFC promo as well, gotta love modern JP holos with the holo borders. I'm considering getting the whole theme deck graded eventually, all the cards in it are in really good shape.

Hiya, I just got my Full Art Bea graded, mine has the same variation, it's normal. I can take a picture or two if you'd want proof.

If you have something particularly hard to get or valuable, subs may be worth it; talking to others in the community, it may help buyer confidence. When I send in my personal stuff to get graded (my precious Eevees), I'm definitely getting subs then, but that's more for me since there's no resale going on there. It just depends on the card, I guess. There's also the concept of, for example, a "weak 9."

I'm fairly certain you get docked on surface for that, I could be wrong though.

Declared value is for insurance. Look around on eBay or a similar auction site for finished listings of graded cards in similar condition to yours, and use that general amount for the field. For example, Iet's say you have a secret rare Salamence VMAX, and a graded secret rare Salamence VMAX in similar shape is going for about $90 on average, so that's the ballpark of what you'd put for the declared value. So, if the card was lost in the mail, that's roughly how much you'd lose, and how much you'd want to get back.

I mean, CGC has been grading trading cards for what, a year now? A CGC-graded Pokémon card has already tied for the highest price in auction within that time window, and the increase in price shortly followed that. The price increase may be a bit disappointing, but I think it's at least fair, especially for what you get (better turnaround times, overall lower price, optional subgrades,...).

Booster boxes are supposed to go from back to front: two columns of 18 with a total of 36 packs. If it was like that (right to left) when you got it, I'd be willing to bet it was tampered with. I'd also count the packs if I were you.

What do you mean by "slab?" Are you using a semi-rigid like a Card Saver I or a "regular" top loader? In my experience (what little that is) cards seem pretty snug in semi-rigids but move around a bit in top loaders. Friends of mine with much more experience than myself said the same to me.

Hi there, I'm rather new to submitting cards- a few friends got me into collecting Pokemon cards! I've recently sent in my first submission via USPS, and it was delivered last Friday but my submission tracker still says there's nothing I've submitted. My friends said it may take a while since I sent it to the PO Box address. That leads me to my question: How often is the PO Box picked up from?
