I have a few graded books already encased inside CGC slabs. Opinions on how you feel about getting the plastic slab signed with pictures since the slabs are uniquely serial numbered. I just don’t want to crack open a slab and go thru the process of regrading. 

Got it! ok, now what I don't understand is why anyone would attach another cover over an existing cover. Good example would be the spiderman book I posted with the married cover. Why would anyone do this to this particular book. It's a very common and easy to find book. Why go thru the trouble of marrying it and get a qualified label? What am I missing?

I was going over my books and I came across a copy of Uncanny X-Men #317 with two covers. I checked Ebay and found similar books that had double covers but some were blue label "double cover" and others were "married covers" green label. What's the difference? I attached pictures of 2 examples. These aren't my books, just ones I found on ebay. 

Please grade my Uncanny X-men #221. Very clean copy but has a stain on the top of the back cover. Does not affect inner pages. Just the cover. How bad will the grade be? Thanks everyone!!

I have a really good condition Silver Surfer Cosmic Odyssey book I’d like to get graded. It’s much thicker than normal and I don’t see any CGC graded books online. Does CGC not grade these books? 

Please grade my Wolverine #24. The book is absolutely beautiful. Sharp corners and tight spine. Only issue is what looks to be a finger nail dent on the top edge of the front cover, above the “V”. How bad will it affect the grade? Thanks everyone!!

Please grade my ASM 51. It’s a lower grade book but how much more will the writing on the cover affect the grade? Thanks for the input!!

I’ve sent numerous books to CGC Florida for grading and those typically run between $60-$90 per book depending on who the artist/writer is. At the shows, minus the artist fee, what is the total cost for CGC to witness and grade a modern age book?

Thank you Jennifer for your response. In this case, would this book get a blue label? I have 5 that all have missing inserts which in no way affects the story. I don’t know the total number released but it must be substantial if I have 5 myself. I want them graded but not if they come back with a green label. Thanks again!!

Going to my first CGC witness signing event this weekend. What's the best way to prepare my books? Should I do the full front cutout with painter's tape or use the yellow CGC signature bags? What's the process with CGC? I paid to get signatures from 2 artists. Will CGC follow me around to get my 6 books signed? If I find more books at the show that I decide to get signed, can I pay for additional signatures on the spot? Any help is greatly appreciated!! 

Thanks for taking a look. Valiant actually released 4 WWF titles. I have 3 of the 4 titles. Doubles on the Ultimate Warrior workout. 

Got a very clean copy of 1991 Valiant WWF Ultimate Warrior’s Workout. Unfortunately it caught the comic bag tape and peeled off some color. How bad will the grade be?

I have 5 copies of ASM #362 that all have the TMNT ad missing from the center of the book. Pictured below are two identical copies of 362. The mystery variant I’m referring to is missing the ad insert while the regular issue has the insert located in the very center of the book. All 5 mystery issues are exactly the same with the missing insert which came like this from the publisher. Is this some type of variant and if so, how does this affect grading and will it be noted in the CGC label? Thanks!!

Book is NM all around. Sharp corners, perfect spine and both front and back cover look great. The issue is the title of the book is gold embossed which is badly scratched. It was stored in one of those hard Mylar sleeves from the 90’s. The embossed part rubbed against the Mylar since it was raised higher than the rest of the cover. What do you guys think? Is it worth grading if it comes back as a 6.0? High grade raw is valued at $500 and in this condition, it’s hopefully worth about $150. I appreciate the feedback!!

Overall great condition except for the crease that spans the entire length of the cover. It’s been pressed so the crease has been minimized but definitely still very visible. Thanks everyone!!

I have several NM unread copies of ASM 362. They’re all in great condition except that they’re all wavy. How does the waviness affect the CGC grade? Thanks for all the help!!

I have 3 subs that's been "scheduled for grading" since 04/15/21 with no movement. How long should I expect keep waiting?

I’ve been checking my submissions daily on my phone hoping for some type of movement but still no changes. I checked my computer since I was at my desk just for the hell of it and 3 of my submissions are logged in. One of my submissions is already in grading. Checked my phone again and it still shows no submissions accepted. Anyone else having the same issue??

I got an email from CSG acknowledging that they received my submission of 119 cards. Took approximately 5 weeks. Will they list out all 119 cards in the submission status page or is the email acknowledgment the only thing I’ll get? The email doesn’t list out all the cards. The email basically just says, “we have your cards”.
