There is currently on Ebay a listing for a Samurai #1 asking about $1,200.
Do you have a working link for this listing?
And -- is this the 1985 Aircel first series of Samurai #1 (pictured)? I have a beautiful copy of this book (which I paid something like 50 bucks for back in the 80s -- yikes!). When I look on ebay now, I see copies going for just a few bucks....

Soggy Yujimbo ? 😖

Alrighty then — no slabbing. 😞
Thanks, folks.

But yeah, that makes sense. Thanks.

So I've been thinking about getting this book slabbed (Usagi Yojimbo Summer Special #1), but then had a closer look at the thing and noticed, along with some minor spine wear, the rusty top staple and slight migration. Would a CCS press do much for this? Thoughts on what grade this might get? Hoping it might still squeak out a 9.0, but if not I guess it's not worth the slabbing...

That's good news; thanks!

I somehow ended up with three raw copies of Punisher Limited Series #1, each of them in pretty good shape except for the fact that the cover seems to be miswrapped in the same way (seems odd, but perhaps I got three copies printed consecutively while the wrap was misaligned). Thoughts on what grade this might get?
