  1. Interestingly enough, I think those auctions just ended a few weeks ago!
  2. Multiple planes on the way down to multiple planes still airborne.
  3. Here's a cool comic from 1995 that reprints the Golden Age Cap story from All Winners #1, has an article discussing Timely Comics and features the covers of Daring Comics #6, Captain America #37 and All Winners #1! This issue also features a rare interview with Joe Simon in which he displays his Cap 1-10 issues and shows his process of how he illustrates his cover recreations! Very cool comic to thumb thru and should only set ya back a couple of bucks!
  4. Today I rediscovered a few Timely reprints. First up, is THIS beauty from 2004! It reprints the EPIC Subby & Torch battle stories from Marvel Mystery 8-10 (ok, that's only 1 page from issue ten, but still!!!)!!! It also reprints all 3 original covers!!! While the reproductions and colors aren't PERFECT, it's still VERY cool to read this battle story in one regular sized COMIC BOOK, rather than a bulky Masterwork! Also, this has a cover price of $4.99 and can usually be found for that price, sometimes less. Certainly worth having if you're a Timely fan!
  5. I used to see this cartoon when I was VERY young .... and yet I remember it fairly clearly. So, now I have a comic book of it.
  6. I love this copy AND its date stamp! Such a cool bit of evidence in newsstand history!
  7. A 2004 reprint of an epic story arc from 1940: Marvel Mystery 8-10 Sub-Mariner vs. Human Torch battle with covers of the original issues included!!!
  8. A cool book from 1995 that reprints GA Cap stories and has an awesome Joe Simon interview inside!
  9. Tommy-gun totin' skiers on a Captain Marvel Jr. cover to heavier artillery cyclists on a Captain Marvel Jr. cover.
  10. The search for the Sub-Mariner to the search for the Hulk.
  11. Closing this one up (obviously, if you contact me later and I still have it, you could buy anything remaining). Thanks to all who looked, big thanks to all who bought!
  12. Marvel Comics and Monster Cereals, what's not to love?
