  1. Wyatt Earp is probably the most famous western gunslinger to have comic titles named after him. I'll post any passed October 1956 here.
  2. I searched but didn't see a Silver Age thread featuring comics based on real people. There actually are quite a few, ranging from sports figures, people of the old west, comedians, both solo and comedy teams, not to mention historical figures such as past presidents and such. Let this be a place to share those Silver Age comics! I started a thread like this in the Golden Age section as well, for anyone who has older comics that fit this description.
  3. Most people of all ages have heard of Wyatt Earp and the famous gunfight at the O.K. Corral. He had a few comic book titles in his honor.
  4. Phoebe Ann Mosey (performed under the name Annie Oakley), was a real-life sharpshooter and one of the first women in history to be famous for it!
  5. Based on Harry Blackstone Sr. perhaps the most famous real-life magician featured in comic books! Between this run and its off-shoots and a lengthy run in Super-Magician, the comic output about him was tremendous!
