  1. Human Torch #19 to Marvel Mystery #19 WITH the Human Torch.
  2. Later Smash with small logo to earlier Smash with BIG logo. Also, Edgar Church copy to D ick Winters copy!
  3. I DO have others and plan to post more as I get pics of them. The first 2 I took pics of were in artificial light and they don't accurately show how nice the pages are, so I'm just waiting until some decent sunlight to take some more.
  4. Well, thank you for that, but it needs to be the Thrifty Grocer Collection in honor of the father/son duo who are responsible for them existing in the first place. It'll be interesting to see if this yields any other books that appear to be from this horde.
  5. Aww, thanks so much for saying that! It's funny that you mention the Everett Subby, because that is one of the main reasons I flipped when I saw them too!!! I hadn't seen hardly ANY of his Atlas Subby work and was blown away at how strong his art was!!! Everett STILL doesn't get the credit he deserves in my opinion!!! Killer Subby art from the 30s (barely, but it counts), 40s, 50s, 60, AND the 70s!!!
  6. Thanks so much! I figured that I was kind of 'on an island' as far as appreciating these just as they are, but I gotta tell ya, I've been pleasantly surprised by how many collectors have come on here and really said some complimentary things about these books! They're getting the due they deserve and it makes me so happy to see!!!
  7. I don't think I ever posted this odd book in this thread.
  8. It's been a LOT of fun working on the Marvel western runs! It's getting more challenging as I go, as once the list fills in a goodly bit, it gets harder to find the remaining issues I need. They really ARE like an undiscovered world compared to the superhero line! SO much more affordable! Do you still have your sets? @KirbyJack
  9. I was very lucky to have some awesome "Strange" winnings the last few days.
  10. Thanks! That's one of the main reasons that I've hung onto them all these years later, that AND they're super cool too!!! I recall considering selling them at some point, but I couldn't imagine splitting them up, especially NOW .... they've been together over 65 years!!!
  11. Thanks Paul!!! Yeah, usually the outer wrap takes a beating on the typical coverless comic. This young guy had a very unusual storage technique, way ahead of his time in comic preservation!
  12. Super sharp 4.0 Mike!!! I've only owned one copy of this issue, a lower grade example that I wish I still had.
  13. Yeah, I've shifted more focus to Silver Age westerns, teen humor and romance lately. They're a LOT less expensive, when you can find them.
  14. Very possible Cat, as I had it slabbed before pressing was much of a thing ...
