  1. Just incredible!!! I've been seeing some copies of The Arrow title in the last year or so, but I almost NEVER see the Mad Ming cover Funny Pages!!! VERY cool and rare!!! Congrats!!!
  2. That's a great book to have an extra copy of!!! All it's going to do is become worth more as time goes along!!!
  3. Well, that Dynamo #4 reads like a who's who of artistic all-stars!!! GREAT Wood cover with Ditko, Wood, Adkins, Stone and Orlando art inside!!! That's a LOT of great stuff for a buck!!! In fact, now I'm going to keep an eye out for those!
  4. Those are some cool books for a buck a piece @Robot Man!!! Proof right there that a person can still collect funny books, even on a tight budget!
  5. That Daredevil #7 is one of my favorite stand alone stories of the Silver Age! SO much going on in that book! Great story, new DD costume, awesome cover!!! A classic!!!
  6. Dog in the snow who could USE a coat to dog on a sidewalk doesn't need it's coat.
  7. I had no idea such a thing existed! Technology is crazy!!!
  8. This is awesome!!! I must admit, I kinda want a blanket that looks like this, with the TOS 39 & 40 added into the lineage after the #38 to replace the yellow box at the top. Laugh all you want, but I bet it'd be a hot seller if a local comic shop sold them for $50!!!
  9. THAT is one gorgeous Planet Comic right there!!! Congratulations on that!!! Those are tough to find lookin' so sharp!!!
  10. @MR. Pontoon LOVE that TTA #44!!! I still need a decent certified copy of that book! I have a raw reader, but it's a bit rough ...
  11. That's so cool that you remember the first book you ever bought at a con!!! I wish I could remember mine. Do you still have it? It's a great book! I couldn't resist buying that copy a month or so ago, but I already had a raw copy to read. They look great in these newest CGC holders!
  12. Captain Freedom artwork from Speed Comics #33 (which I don't have a copy of), because I just dig the character and seeing Golden Age artwork.
  13. Feldstein Weird Fantasy to Feldstein Weird Fantasy.
  14. That's a GREAT book to have in the boxes!!! If you ever need to make up a chunk of loot in a trade, that's a big'un to have handy!
  15. It's been so long ago that I read that story ... I can't really remember it anymore! Looks like I need to dig out my raw copy and get reading!!!
  16. Thanks for the tip! My wallet is a bit emptier that I'd like it to be right now as well. There's a lot of great stuff that's been coming out recently!
  17. How is this still here? It's not a title I collect, but if it was ............ I couldn't afford it. It's SUPER cool though, and I think a high-grade DC collector will buy it!
  18. Another smoker!!! I may have to investigate this portion of the run in the future! Until then, keep these beauties coming!!!
  19. I owned page 2 of this issue at one time. I bought it from Albert Moy in Chicago in the late 90s. Selling it is my second biggest comic art related regret. No DD on the page, but it's full of Spidey. It was the only Romita art I've ever owned.
  20. I posted this copy earlier in the thread, but I wanted to post an original art page from the issue to go with it. Artwork by Don Heck and Frank Giacoia.
