  1. Captain America #17 CGC Universal 1.8 c/ow pages. Label states: Cover reattached with 2 pieces of tape on interior cover. $695 SOLD
  2. Blonde Phantom #18 Canadian copy, 3.0-3.5 with ow pages. As I said elsewhere, we compared this to Billy's American edition and there's more blood on the Canadian copies injured man. A little extra gore for your money. $375SOLD
  3. Probably be back later with some certified Timely books. Thanks to all who have found something for their collections.
  4. Captain America #77 Qualified 3.0 last page missing. Ow/w pages. Tough to find affordable Atlas Cap with great paper quality. The missing last page doesn't affect any story, as it's an ad page. Some scattered staining and a strong smell to it. Might have been in a moist climate at one time. Perhaps oddly, most of my collector friends like the "old comic" smell. $250 for this one. SOLD
  5. Captain America #56 Qualfied 3.0 centerfold missing. Ow pages. Cover is loose from the interior. Book has an odd spine roll/cockle to it which would square up nicely with a press. $325 SOLD
  6. Human Torch #19 3.5-4.0 c/ow pages. Centerfold loose but present. Creasing and minor soiling with a 3/4" tear on the back cover account for the grade. GREAT "girl in peril" Schomburg cover for a nice price. $475 SOLD
  7. Human Torch #16 3.0 c/ow pages. Cover detached from interior at the single staple but a piece is still attached at the staple. One page has about a 3" tear (doesn't affect artwork) the next page is missing a piece in the margin, not touching art. GREAT Torch & Toro Japanese war cover for an affordable price! $375 SOLD
  8. Marvel Mystery #75 3.0 ow pages. The cover is detached from the interior at the single staple. The centerfold is loose but present. Name stamp front cover, name written on back cover. Small inch and a quarter (or so) tear bottom spine into cover. Some staining in the logo area. Very colorful copy. $375 SOLD

  10. I have some Timely Comics that I've decided to offer up for sale in my effort to downsize and specialize a bit. Some raw copies first, possibly some certified copies later. First in the thread wins out over any pm discussion. It's the best way to be fair. U.S. shipping is $12 priority with Signature Confirmation for raw books, $18 for certified books. I DO combine orders to save on shipping. Insurance is extra and at cost should you choose it. Shipping outside the U.S. is expensive and will be at cost. I prefer checks or money orders for payment but can accept PayPal if have to pay that way. 7 day return privilege on raw books (return shipping on you), no returns on certified books. https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/434813-frisco-larson-kudos-thread/
  11. I really like this story and the characters he created in it.
  12. WoW Jack, that's …. um ….. AMAZING ….. MAN!!! What a wicked cool run of beautiful funny books!!! The Everett touch is on full display here!!! Well done my friend, well done indeed!!!
  13. Thanks Steve! I think if a guy were inclined to press it & submit it, it'd probably clear 6.0 in street shoes. No spine splits at all that I recall. It has a SUPER COOL "Taft Drug Store" stamp with arrival date on the back cover.
  14. Thanks so much! Yeah, I'm TRYING to find nice copies, but pretty tough to find above mid grade.
  15. Had it out to thumb thru so I grabbed a quick pic. It clearly hasn't been pressed.
  16. Cracked this guy out many moons ago. I think it may have been the only graded copy at the time.
  17. This one is in, as Billy says, "The other guy's holder" so, no label for you!
  18. These covers have their charm, but yeah …. can you imagine a pair of moody Gustavson covers?
  19. Wow, nice copy ya got there! I haven't cracked mine out yet. I'm downsizing in some areas to expand in some others and haven't yet decided if this one is gonna stay. If it does, it comes out.
  20. Not sure if I posted this here or not. Second appearance of the Arrow. The coupon out only disrupts a humor story, not the Arrow story, so that's a bit more acceptable.
  21. I'll end it on a pretty one even though it's arguable if it belongs in this thread.
