  1. Falling In Love 30 G $2.50 Spine splits, cover detached at bottom staple. SOLD!
  2. This thread will have quite a few DC Romance books. I'm guessing there will be about 10% of all the DC/National books from the late 50s - the 70s. Several of the books will be retreads with much lower pricing. There are plenty of new upgrades and even a small group (maybe 12) of books from an original owner I got just recently. They are nice looking, but most have water damage and/or foxing. Several still have very high eye appeal though. I'm going to list one book tonight, and really get going in the morning. I anticipate the thread will run through Sunday, but I will try to get it done sooner. 1) I prefer checks or MOs, but Paypal, Venmo and even cash are fine. 2) Shipping will be on the buyer at cost. 1-2 raw books can ship First Class. 3+ will ship USPS Priority Box. I will ship to Canada and elsewhere as inexpensively as possible via USPS. 3) Returns are fine within 14 days of USPS posted delivery date, but buyer pays return shipping. 4) No Bad Listers 5) Ridiculing the books is ok *6) The or a typed I'll take it, take it or clearly understood version MUST BE POSTED IN THE THREAD! I will do it for you if we are discussing a sale via PM, but it has to be posted in the thread by the buyer or me. If we agree on something via PM, and someone else takes it in the thread before you or I post the , that person gets the book.
  3. I believe there is some truth to that, yes. But there are still fair prices and many dealers whose stock you’ve likely never looked through before. And everyone seemed to be willing to deal.
  4. Nope. It was a tad slow getting in to Canada, but really easy getting back into the US.
  5. Another two things from me being maybe the only guy from the US to attend… 1. If you are in or near Detroit, Buffalo/Niagara Falls, Montreal, Hamilton, Cleveland, or anywhere within 4-5 hours of the show, go at least once. In Canada, I would even say maybe 6-7 hours, since you don’t have to cross the border. I stayed at the hotel the show is at, and it’s a weird area for a hotel, but the rooms are very nice and it’s not expensive. It’s north of the 401 so you don’t have to deal with downtown Toronto unless you want to. Honestly, if you haven’t been to Toronto, it’s a great city to visit. This is especially true in the summer. 2. Something that was very prominent at this show was dealers having boxes labeled “Wall Books” maybe this has been common for a while, but I haven’t really noticed it like this show. I bring this up, because it wasn’t an exaggeration. Guardian had a really nice Sub Mariner 1 and 5 in theirs (among many others) and others had nice books up to $900 Canadian or more in these. There were some questionable ones too, but definitely some good keys.
  6. Alas, the only downside to the show was that the beat book there appeared not to sell.☹️
  7. The room was very nice. Aisles were wide. It wasn’t uncommon to have to wait to look through specific boxes though. From what little I overheard, the dealers were happy with their sales for the day.
