  1. True, some may have been delivered. I haven't had any reports of items being received while not showing as delivered yet. I know it happens though. What the list does accurately depict are unknowns for me as a seller. I don't know if any of these have been delivered. That plays into your question of possible dishonest buyers claiming something wasn't received, when it was. Either way, it just means there are some extra stresses as a seller right now when shipping via USPS. I still have a non comic shipment (Priority) from 11-24 that has disappeared.
  2. I've sent a bunch of books out over the past two months. Here are the ones that still aren't showing as delivered. All to the US. Slabs are all Priority, raws First Class. Several shipped within these have been delivered. 12-18 2 Slabs ( No update since 12-22-2020, case opened 1-9-2021) 12-21 2 Slabs Delivered 1-6-21 12-21 1 Slab Delivered 1-7-21 12-21 1 Raw 12-24 1 Slab Delivered 12-29 1 Slab Delivered 1-6-21 12-29 1 Raw Delivered 1-12-2021 12-30 1 Slab Delivered 1-7-2021 12-30 2 Raws Delivered 1-7-2021 12-31 1 Slab Delivered 12-31 1 Raw Delivered 1-8-2021 1-1 1 Slab Delivered 1-6-21 1-1 1 Slab Delivered 1-8-21 1-2 1 Raw Delivered 1-8-2021 1-3 1 Slab Delivered 1-7-2021 This is the best update: ARRIVE USPS FACILITY Jan-05-21, 13:13 PM, UNKNOWN 01153 PROCESSED THROUGH USPS FACILITY Dec-30-20, 18:51 PM, ALLEN PARK, MI 48101 ORIGIN ACCEPTANCE Dec-30-20, 17:36 PM, ANN ARBOR, MI 48103 USPS IN POSSESSION OF ITEM Dec-30-20, 13:54 PM, ANN ARBOR, MI 48103
  3. This is a good question. I’m guessing it might take a lawyer in each state to answer the question. So many factors could be at play. One would be who paid for the freight. If the buyer pays, it might be considered FOB “plant.” I believe that means the buyer “owns” the shipment as soon as it leaves the point of origin. If the seller pays, it’s likely FOB Destination, and the shipper owns it until it gets to where it was shipped to. Some of the lawyers on the boards could probably confirm or refute this. That being said, eBay may have their own policies as well as other sites, including these boards. I’m not sure if those types of agreements can supersede state (and international) laws though, if a state even has such laws regarding this. There may be no single answer to your question. I’d be interested to know if any of our learned boarders have a better grasp on this.
  4. Yes, it would give you an idea of the strengths and weaknesses of your collection, opportunities to make it better, and threats of possible future devaluation. These will be due next Friday and account for 20% of your overall grade. Line charts and bar charts will offer a one point extra credit each. 3D graphs will be 2 points each.
  5. Yes, I let him know. He said ok. I just think filing a non delivery case after four shipping days is ridiculous. Especially when he has tracking and could see that his shipment had been moving all week. An exception might be an overnight delivery, which this wasn’t.
  6. I’m worried about that now too. It doesn’t sound like a big deal, but with these comes a lock on the money. I had a transfer already in motion, so I’m waiting to see if it affected all of it, some of it, or none of it.
  7. Paid promptly for two slabs. Very easy to deal with and great communication.
  8. So, I get an early morning message from eBay. A buyer has opened a request about an item (slab) he hasn’t received yet. Now, this slab was purchased last Sunday. It was shipped the same day. The tracking shows it is moving along, although a bit slower than typical Priority might move. However, this guy needed to open a case when four shipping days have passed. The four shipping days before Christmas... during Covid. Merry 🎄 Christmas!
  9. Can anyone top this one? Sent from Ann Arbor to Dallas, TX.
  10. I’ve accepted that fact, and I’m ok with it. But this is a Value sub and you specialize in Moderns and Walk-Throughs.
  11. I believe they removed that from their grading info a few years ago. If they still say that somewhere, I wasn’t able to find it. If it’s not FIFO, it would be nice to know how they prioritize grading of subs in the same tier.
  12. Because the Value timeline is now at 85 days, all they'll say is that it's still on schedule.
  13. My 8-21 Value still in SFG. I think that's three subs, just from boardies, that have jumped in front of this sub.
  14. Those are awesome! I'm not sure I've even seen the 905 can before. They all look to be in nice shape too.
  15. Was this really a Fast Track sub? Almost four months with other non Fast Track Value subs shipping well before it.
  16. Studio 4, La Casa de la Habana, Casino, River Walk, Silvers, Tunnel Bar BQ, Don Cherry’s, catch a Trooper show, Spitfires games.
  17. I moved to Ann Arbor about three years ago. It’s hit or miss for me, but it’s a nice college town. What type of engineering? Civil, automotive, other?
