  1. This will be a large DC Romance thread with a few Charltons thrown in late. I will be listing about 10% of all of the DC/National branded Romance comics here. It will have a little bit of everything, Lichtensteins, classic DC Romance covers, Beatles, 100 Pagers, and more will be here! These are all undercopies, so there will be some affordable books, and a few nicer ones. To keep this thread on as quick of a pace as possible, I will only be providing pictures. If you need a scan of anything, please let me know. I can scan something pretty easily while I'm listing these. I don't have a TV in my office and it's a college football Saturday. For the must part, these will be listed in alpha-numeric order. So, we'll do: Falling In Love Girls' Love Stories Girls' Romances Heart Throbs Love Stories Young Love Young Romance 1) PayPal, Venmo, checks, MOs and even cash are fine. 2) Shipping will be on the buyer at cost. One book will ship First Class. Two books will ship Priority Envelope. Three or more books will ship Priority Box. Shipping from 48103. Overseas sales are ok, but you will be paying for the shipping. 3) Returns are fine within 14 days of USPS posted delivery date, but buyer pays return shipping. 4) No Bad Listers 5) Ridiculing the books is ok *6) The or a typed I'll take it, take it or clearly understood version MUST BE POSTED IN THE THREAD! I will do it for you if we are discussing a sale via PM, but it has to be posted in the thread by the buyer or me. If we agree on something via PM, and someone else takes it in the thread before you or I post the , that person gets the book.
  2. $3 each for the Romance books? Eventually, the authorities are going to catch up to you.
  3. Yep, it was very low grade. I don't recall the price. By the time I got to that wall, I really had to go.
  4. Summit Comics and Games- Lansing, MI Home of the Lugnuts I have been aware of this store, but thought they really only dealt in moderns and games. I believe someone mentioned in here that they had back issues too, and were trying to increase what they have. I stopped in at lunch and ended up spending a full hour here. Store is right in downtown Lansing. I was the first one in the door today. They had three people working, and two were very attentive. When you walk in, you'll first see tons of games. As you walk back further into the store, you'll notice tons of new comics and racks and the walls. Many were bagged and boarded. This looks like a great place for moderns and games. Again, two arenas I'm not all that knowledgeable in. They did have some older books on the wall, up very high. I wasn't able to get a good feel for condition due to this. I thought maybe they didn't have any older books, but when I hit the back of the store, there were 13 or so longs. These are the nice, black plastic longs, not the carboard longs. I started looking through them and pulled out a few books. The workers were very attentive, as they asked me twice if I was finding everything ok. When I was about halfway through the longs, the guy (owner?) asked if I knew about their dollar books and as marked books. "Do tell!" He said they were in what was their gaming area. They can't host games due to covid, so I could head back there. You have to exit the store into a hallway and back to another room. I walked into a room with maybe 30 longs, maybe more, on tables on several others stacked on top of each other. I went though as many as I could, and just ran out of time. I didn't even get a chance to look through $1 boxes! I'm going to have to go back. The store was very clean and organized. The workers were very friendly and helpful. The boxes are in alphabetical order for the most part, but within any given letter, they might be out of order somewhat. Still, they were easy to search through. Stopping here is a no brainer if you're in the area. Especially if you are into moderns. They had a good deal of Copper as well. A fair amount of Bronze, and some Silver. They may have even had a few off-title Gold books.
