  9. sure, they're pretty, but looking at them leaves a bad taste in my mouth. abject, shameless envy and the long-shot hope i'll stay in his will after the impending nuptials tends to do that to the taste in my mouth.
  10. Someone likes Tarzan That must be why he's marrying a big Tarzan geek!
  11. What I don't understand is why there always seems to be at least oneperson on here who feels an uncontrollable urge to rain on someone else's parade if it happens to be even remotely possible to do so. The history of this particular piece of Frazetta art is -- as a couple of you have stated -- no big secret, and MrBedrock had nothing to do with the "sale gone wrong" part of it's history ... so why even bring it up? To all of you who've been posting all of the cool ERB stuff ... ... please don't stop!!!!
  12. hey, i know a funny book dealer from houston, too--name of evans. i wonder if he knows the 'great' one from there--i didn't know they had any. You're missing the literal translation of "really" great. Houston has at least one "really great" comic book dealer (disagree and I'll inundate your inbox with an image of every DC Gorilla cover I can find ... ).

  16. Thanks ciorac! but I have no idea who you could possibly be referring to ... I just bet you don't! yo momma? Now was that very nice? Tried to pay you a compliment, and that is what I get in return?? Sorry, Bill. I was only teasing ... certainly didn't mean any offense. Guess I just didn't realize you were such a sensitive guy.
