  1. Welcome to the Desert Wind Enterprises

     2020 convention and signing schedule.

Home of Desert Wind Comic and Celestial Comics.

We have listed the conventions and signings that we will be accepting submissions for. If you are interested in submitting books to be signed and then CGC graded for a specific show, please go to our website for complete details. If you have any questions please e-mail us at sharon@celestial-comics.com or chandler@desertwindcomics.com. Due to our constant travel schedule we find it easier to answer questions via e-mail then having to wait until we get PM's here on the CGC boards.

Make sure to check our Desert Wind Comics Facebook page for special announcements including sketch opportunities.

And if you are at a show, make sure to stop by the Desert Wind Enterprises booth to take advantage of our "VALUE ADDED SERVICE" that only Desert Wind can provide. Thank you.

  2. Ok folkies I just happen to come on looking to see what was happening. Please note that we only check the boards once in a while. If you need to contact us, the best thing to do is email us at Chandler@desertwindcomics.com or Sharon@celestial-comics.com or call us at 702-592-4792. The usual reason for a slow reply from us is because we are at an average of about 30-35 cons/signings a year so we are not in the office for periods of time. While it is easy to say, can’t you get your email anywhere, we average about 100 emails a day, so when you are at a con for 3-4 days straight and then on an airplane just after that, access to emails and the internet can often be difficult at times.

kmiracleman have you talked to me yet? I am Chandler. If not, please email me you info including you CGC invoice number. This is an easy fix, usually just a mix up in paperwork. Again because we are at as many shows as we do each year, hiccups and mistakes do happen. Thank you.

What is your return postage for CGC books to Belgium?

Will you be able to get books signed by Ming-Na Wen (actress) at C2E2.

I saw your form on your site, but no return price to European countries.

We normally charge $50 for the first item and $5 for each additional item for INSURED return shipping to international customers. Also for celebrity signatures don’t forget the $25.00 per item celebrity line fee.

@Celestial Comics Glad to see you guys will be at the Silicon Valley Comic-Con in mid August. Will we be able to drop off books at your booth for witnessed signatures for creators at the event and for future conventions that you'll be attending?

We don’t know if we will have a booth yet. Keep watching our bestie for more information.

How can we get in line for 2019? I've heard Todd will not sign the Venom 1:1000 variant, yet I see them on eBay with his signature. I'd like to get it as well as a pristine ASM 298 and a very nice ASM 300 signed by the Toddfather.

We will not be announcing any signing with Todd until Todd's office gives us the ok. At this point we don't see any signings taking place any earlier then mid summer if it happens then. Todd has to finish filming his Spawn movie first.

  12. If you have had difficulty in reaching Sharon please do the following.

CC Chandler@desertwindcomics.com on your last email and please identify yourself in your email to us.

We have been getting a ton of emails that say the following.

    ”can I get an update”

and that is it.. no name or order number or anything to identify who you are other then we have to research who the email belongs to. And many times the customer has not included that info with their order. So we have no way to look anything up other then to email back and say who is this?

    and

last if you feel the need to post here at least tell us who you are so we can try to contact you. Unfortunately your CGC board name does not tell us who you are. Thank you.

I can't get a hold of Sharon.  I've emailed her several times over the past two weeks with no response.  I sent in a couple books to be signed (most recent Jim Lee and most recent Stan Lee), and was wondering when my card would be charged.  Also, I barely filled out the submission form and emailed her asking to call me when she had the form in hand to help me out but never heard from her.

    Any ideas?

We came back from San Diego buried under books and stuff. And with the change in the Stan Lee signings we barely had time to get ready to get packed for the show in Hawaii the beginning of August. We then took a vacation and returned home this past Monday. Sharon has several hundred e-mails she has been going through. Some customers asking for status updated from books turned in at San Diego and CGC has bearly had time to enter everything into their computer system, so we had no new information to tell. Those same customers would then e-mail the next day asking the same thing. So Sharon is wading through all of that. Please forward me the emails you send to her and I will check on them. Send to Chandler@desertwindcomics.com. BUT please note we leave in the afternoon for TerrifiCon this weekend and several signings with creators like John Romita Sr. SO I will not be able to get to the emails until we get back in the office next Tuesday. Anything submitted to us to be signed with the exception of Stan Lee will be signed even if you have not been billed yet.
