I'm scrambling to get books submitted before the price hike.  I'm thinking of submitting this copy of Amazing Spider-Man 375.  There was some black ink from the label that looks like it bled through on the foil (definitely not scraped foil).  Does that lower the grade on its own?

I do plan on getting it cleaned and pressed if I submit.  Because they're signed, I assume it gets the green label, even though they're on the 1st page.  Is that right?

Hello, all.  Total noob submitter so please forgive me for any egregious mistakes.  Here is another book from the 30 that I'm submitting.  My biggest reason to get my books graded is so that one day, it'll be easier for my son to sell.  With that said, this book is signed by John Byrne, Terry Austin, and Chris Claremont - all non-CGC witnessed since it was signed at a Lone Star Comics event long ago.  Since it's not on the cover, should I even bother submitting it? If I do, what's the grade?  Thank you all for your help!

Welcome to the boards! The book looks nice, but the discoloration spots and blunted corners have me thinking 7.5. I probably wouldn't submit it if I'm honest, but if you gang up a lot of books maybe it's worth it.

 

Thanks for your feedback.  I'm thinking of submitting about 30-40 books for my first submittal.  Most of them will be in my private collection, but I figured I would sell 1 of my Star Wars: Heir to the Empire #1 to pay for most/all of the expense of grading.

Hello, all.  Here is another book from the 30 that I'm submitting.  The cover was miscut and not aligned.  Does that also detract from the grade? Thank you all for your help!

Hello, all.  I'm new to the chatboards so please forgive my ignorance.  I just joined CGC and plan on submitting about 30 books (just waiting for the large submission package to arrive).  One of the books I am submitting is The Joker #1.  I know it won't get a 9.2 or higher, but do you think it'll be between 8.5 to 9.0?  Thanks for your input!
