I didn't see the previous post has been made on the cover I posted. I just found out in my email this morning.

As for the Turf artist question, Tommy Lee Edwards is a subscriber to Ultimate Comics, hence the exclusive cover. It has nothing to do with Turf.

Back cover is blank also for those who doesn't want to tarnish the front.

I don't know where you hear that but it's a one copy per order thingie.

My LCS is having a WD #75 Blank variant this month.

I've posted this story before, but I always like a new opportunity to trot it out again:

 

Biggest thrill was in the early 1980s, wandering through a used book fair and spying a cardboard box of comics under a seller's table. Asked if I could look through them, and my heart almost stopped when I found FF #2 in (what I now know to be) VF condition. Kept flipping and I think my heart DID stop when I saw the next book: FF #1, again in VF shape.

 

I made sure no one else saw the books, and I quietly and calmly asked the guy what he wanted for them. He obviously knew they were worth something, but had no idea how much, because he said $50. I asked him, "each?!", and he said "for both". I gave $50 cash and got the heck out of there as fast as possible!

Still got them?

I think the refund was sent, it just hasn't cleared yet.

How long ago was this? It takes 3 days from refund sent to cleared in your account, at least from my experience.

It is and isnt about the money meaning im happy im getting a refund (hopefully by monday) but i just really wanted the book and for me the money didnt mean mess right now

 

time to contact paypal and file a claim

If it's not done under the "personal" form of payment. Right?

Can someone fill me in on what happened to gilberto? I did a big trade with him last year and it went off ok.....just curious what happened after that to get him in trouble??

Several people paid for books that they never recieved.

 

Ouch! I was insistent he send me ALL the books involved in our trade before I would ship him anything back. Good thing!

I wonder if the books he got in the trades is the ones he "sold" to the members.

I hope you do get your sketch somehow. The last piece I've seen recently from him is the variant cover (Demon Bear) in X-Force. That was just a few months ago.
