  1. I think that Superman and Batman should be exclusive to DC. Other production companies et al will mispresent Superman and Batman and make them ridiculous.
  2. Hi -I purchased a Detective Comics #90.. it was either lost by the delivery service OR stolen in the process. Please message me if you see this book - photo attached. Thank you
  3. Yes same here. It is pretty close to a "pre-Robin" cover and Batman depiction
  4. Cool, yes it represents the earlier Detective Comics covers. I like that it's Batman w/ cape spread in front of the moon (and Robin is not too visible)
  5. Hercules is a fairly prominent character in Marvel.. perhaps a "C" level character. JIM #1 is a 1965 Silver Age book.. based on these factors seems potentially undervalued. If the MCU moves him to an "A" level character, AND is audience is receptive, then the value will increase. However I agree the market will dictate it's value.
  6. Is Journey into Mystery Annual #1 (Marvel, 1965) undervalued? First appearance of Hercules.
  7. Love this! Very cool to see the New York City influence that Bob Kane and the artists looked at for Gotham City inspired art!
  8. That is actually a good comparison.. while Detective Comics #33 is out of price range for many collectors (including me).. I see Detective Comics #54 as a reasonably priced alternative.. with the same artist, same character, similar cover, and early 1940's Golden Age goodness. This may qualify as "The Poor Man's Detective Comics #33!"
  9. Detective Comics #33 (1939) and Detective Comics #54 (1941) Wonder if the artist realized this, given the 2 year time span..
