honesty I can't believe that drug issue is still around...

 

I mean it had a cool cover and all, but didn't ASM 96-98 make more headlines

during this period because they didn't have the comic codes permission

thus got printed without their seal because of Marvel's drug story?

Can anyone seriously explain the Defenders. That really contributed nothing to comic books at all. The only thing the defenders ever did was allow Dr Strange and Silver Surfer to keep appearing outside of guest appearances. There may have been some decent storylines (maybe) but in over 150 issues nothing important happened. At least with TOD, Cerebus and even many of the others, at least there was a first appearance or somthing.
