Ya know, the best compliment you can give an artist is to say he has his own style. When Image comics was in full swing,everyone there was drawing like Jim Lee, I still think Marc Silvestri is a Jim Lee wannabe. If you see an artist and you like his stuff,alot of people wanna draw on that same level of work being done,If you can learn from it,then great,but you won't get anywhere trying to duplicate it,that's why I can't stand alot of the art being done in today's comics,most of it is a rehash of what's already been done,I still have yet to see a drawing style I haven't seen before that hits me between the eyes like Bolland or Mcfarlane has.
