I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you weren't expecting COW pages either.

 

Eh, not the first time I've gotten C/OW, but you're right in that I expected one or two of them to come in as OW.

 

In the B.C. Olden Tymes of collecting (i.e., Before CGC), several dealers would subtract from the overall grade of an otherwise NM+ book if it had C/OW page quality.
