as much as i love 122 & 121 i have to go with punny in that situation. A 1st is more lofty than a death, and in the case of 122 he isn't even DEAD. I do think 121 is the best book of the 3 though.

I was actually just stating my opinion on the poll, i.e. stating that I would rather own a 129 over a 121 or 122. But now that you mention it, yes, I like the cover better too! Much cleaner design IMO.

Pick one up - you'll be glad you did. No need for high grade if you're not looking to spend a ton of money, but it's one of those books you just have to own.

 

They're both cool books but 121/122 never really did anything for me whereas I grew up on Punisher! Maybe I'd feel differently if I was actually buying books back in 1973 (wasn't born yet!).

ASM 129 is a great book(read my Marvel Tales 106 many times ). I'm a big fan of the Jackal as well.

 

I like 121 and 122.....because Gwen Stacy has always had a special place in heart.
