When the fish tank broke and there was a half an inch of water across the floor, I was tickled pink that all of my books were in mylar.

Its your books, but I don't think you are ready for parenthood. hm

He's not the one with a dead fish, though... lol

I have been buying comics for months now...throwing out the bags & boards, & storing them naked in half boxes. 40-s through the 80's. FR - NM. And I have been LOVING it! There is something fun about throwing caution to the wind & having boxes of solid newsprint with no protection... :cloud9:

Any particular reason for this radical behavior?

Stopped the leak. Situated fish. Cleaned up water. Checked comics. The bottoms of the boxes were wet, but the Mylars did their job. :)

BTW... It was a salt water tank.

Note to self, don't keep comics in the same room with my fish tank. btw, How effing big was your tank? 1/2" on the floor and it didn't even empty the tank?

Yikes

Who puts a fish tank in a comic room? Hopefully they were Aquaman comics.....or Sub Mariners at the very least.

Wow, that's not a tank it's a pool!

And to think I am afraid of putting my coffee cup on the same table when dealing with comics.
