Favorite Iron Man Armor?

Red/Golf just cause it's so cool with the hip discs...Marvel bring back the hip discs!

 

Followed by the Red/Silver Centurion armor since the battle between Iron Man and The Captain was one of my fun comic memories, "Let's settle this Man to Iron Man."

Red and Silver will always be my favorite. I have even started picking this run up slabbed.

Red/Gold or the black stealth armor or any armor drawn by Bob Layton. Nobody draws armored characters like Layton.

I'm old school and really prefer the Iron Man "look" and armor from the start of the Bronze Age!

I actually have two favourites, Silver Centurion and the 1963 armour with the horned helmet design.

I'm going to have to say the gold and red from the late 60's to late 70's....except for the short period where the mask had a nose. What was up with that? It was there long enough for Mego to add a nose to their Iron Man action figure in the mid 70's.

Pretty much anything John Romita Jr. draws becomes my favourite armour. Loved his Armour Wars 2 art - he gives a good bulk to the armour and with it a sense of robotic/hindered movement (seen very well in the Eternals mini-series he drew, IM was perfectly represented visually in that)
