That is until my recent Linsner purchase gets here,and it is a STUNNER!! A painting that has always been one of my favorites by Joe. To be continued!!

 

(worship) I just love Linsner's interpretation of the female figure.

I know this one will knock your socks off!! I can't wait to see it in original form.. (Hint) It wasn't one of the pieces that they just offered for sale in the emails to the Linsner.com folks. It has been one of my favorite Linsner pieces of all-time!!

Thanks! The guy that did it,Thomas Frisano,is a member of CAF and still does commissions. I don't know what the prices are currently,it's been a few years since I've had one done.For awhile there,I was spending all my money on the guy!I still a have a few pieces he did for me that I need to post. Especially the one of Galactus arriving in New York City. The piece is huge!

What can I say. I prayed that in 6 months this page would still be there when I could afford it. And it was there. Why no one else bought it when every other cool page from the first book (Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk) sold is beyond me. All I know is that it's mine now!

 

Funny thing is how Leinil Yu talks about this specific page in the Director's Cut about why he likes this page and that he draws his pages to be attractive collectors. He also commented on how this page hadn't sold at the time :) .
