Sorry when someone starts rambling about modern OA not increasing in value and misspelling crazy, we jump as most are tired of the same old song and dance from the shills..

Thanks to those that offered a serious reply to my query. I didn't realize how much of an impact KK had made to your boards and I should have offered some evidence that I wasn't an original artwork terrorist.

 

I've since seen another discussion on these same lines at Comic Art Fans. Many of the same concerns have been addressed but the poster did a better job than I did of expressing his thoughts. It seems as if a lot of modern comic artwork already has its profit margin built in at the time of purchase. It would be very hard for a newbie to buy and hope to sell at later date for a profit. Doesn't mean I won't try, though.
