How do you tell the differences between TMNT 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc,printings?

There is also a "counterfeit" #1 1st printing that exists...but the counterfeiters used a 3rd printing for the inside front cover, which they whited out "3rd printing". The way you can tell is, the third printing had a different address on the bottom of the inside cover than the 1st printing.

Interesting I was not aware the counterfeits were from a 3rd priniting. Does that mean they dont have the ads on the inside back cover?

I'm not sure about the counterfeit inside back covers (never saw a counterfeit in person). I do know first printings have an ad for "Gobbledygook" and 2nd and 3rd printings have an ad for t-shirt iron-ons.
