Gene Colan has long been one of my favorite pre-code artists. His work in Atlas horror was outstanding. There his faces were unique and very "colanesque". Almost an "everyman" look to the faces in non-ordinary situations. A few samples of his precode horror covers I copied from GCD.

one of the greatest artists ever, his Tomb of Dracula should be put in a Omnibus.

cmon Marvel get with it. the Tomb of Draculas essentials were huge sellers.

 

I thought I read someplace though that marvel sort of chopped those up a bit some how to make them more kid friendly or something?... Could have been one of the other monster books though.... I agree bring on the omnibus! More omnibus the better imo!
