BTW , I'm not suggesting in the least that your bothered about it , or that it should be done , but all you have to do is take a couple of seconds and hit the green "spell check" icon at the top middle right of the page , after you have written your post .

Well , I don't know what type of browser , or whatever it's called , that you have . Mine is Internet Explorer , and possibly Google . But there should be a green "check mark" w/ an A,B,C above it . If not , maybe someone else can chime in ?...................BH

lol this is funny , sorry im not totally writting to your level i just dont see the need since its not for a newspaper ,class, or work . im not really getting anything for it so why should i care . i work in medication , wich by the way you act you could use one of my products i sell to middle age men viagra , just think you impotence helps pay for my collection lmao .

 

Personally, I like to present myself in as best a light as possible. I don't show up for a job interview having not showered, I don't go out to bars in a pair of stained sweatpants, and I don't write without using proper English....but hey, that's just me. (shrug)

 

I have the same mentality in general, but writing well isn't that simple for everyone. This place is an anomaly as far as message boards go. Those who are capable of writing well do so habitually; that's how they get good at it in the first place. Those who have difficulty doing it generally won't. I don't think it's something you can turn on and off.

How do I feel about spelling on message boards? I'm not fanatical, and I don't claim to have perfect grammar, but I think it is respectful of others to at least try. It is just a pain to try and read something that is filled with spelling mistakes. I get distracted! No longer can I focus on your well thought out post, but I find myself trying to proofread your post!

 

How does it really make me feel? On my way home from school today I was in line to get on a bus. Suddenly the person in front of me started hacking and spitting. Then she started puking everywhere! It was disgusting. I started to feel sick as well, but thankfully I was able to keep my lunch. So not only do spelling mistakes make it difficult to read a post, it also makes me feel like I might just develop the same bad spelling mistakes after seeing them constantly (hence throwing up!)

 

Ok moving along... welcome to the boards!

Spelling mistakes are one thing, and minor. Making use of rudiments such as punctuation and capitalization are another.
