Your 100-pagers look terrific. (Just watch out for the glare.) I've seen scanned images that aren't as clear.

 

Generally I prefer scans because some of the camera pics I've seen are terrible and do not show much detail. However, if done right, I think they look just as good, if not better, than scans. My scanner, for instance, always leaves these little dots on the image, and the picture almost always looks too sharp and edgy.
