Looks like shill bidding to me. What do you think?

The seller has been trying to sell it on a much higher BIN for weeks now and has just recently let it go on auction.

I use to read those translated into German when I lived there. I have to say, the British translation were far less humorous than the German. I think they just translated literally word for word, which often losses the subtlety of the joke. I imagine the that the original Italian would put all translations to shame though.
