A few years ago, I took an express train from Penn Station, that stopped in Philly, 2 hours total from NY (Danny you should check out the express, ti was great), the train station was FINE, and I was a woman, alone...no knife wielders....very safe...and it was only $80 from NY. It let me off right near where the Convention is located and there are cabs all over.

 

I'm not going to be around this year, or we would offer to pick you up, next year...
