Kudos to Matt Nelson and Classic's Inc. Good Work!

Hey,

 

I just wanted to actually have a nice pressing thread for a change. I am giving mad props/respect to Matt Nelson of Classic’s Inc. for taking a couple of my books at the SDCC 2008 and taking great care of them and making me believe that Matt 100% knows what he is doing in terms of restoration, especially pressing.

 

Just one of these books going to the next level paid in itself for his fees and CGC’s grading. The whole company was professional and courteous to all my nagging questions. Matt’s Pro-screening of all the books I brought with me was outstanding, and the 4 he choose he is batting 4 for 4.

 

This is not a thread to start the controversy of pressing and disclosure; rather I am just giving massive kudos to Matt Nelson and his business.

 

Below I am posting the two books that were pressed and re-subbed to CGC.

Excuse a newbie question:

The new labels don't say anything about them being pressed.

Is that right?

If you tell CGC they have been pressed, would they put that on the label?

some auctions sites wont allow you to state a books been pressed either.

No because CGC does not consider Pressing restoration.

 

Also the old 9.4 labels were also given back to CGC so the 9.4 copies can be taken out of the CGC census.
