I forget the details, but a young person once inherited her grandmother's house and all of its contents. It was packed with antiques, old collectables, etc. Sold individually, the items would have brought countless thousands of dollars. She didn't care. She just wanted the money then and there and sold the house and all of its contents for next to nothing.

I also had a neighbor when I lived in Vegas who inherited seven different houses. She proceded to gamble off those houses one-by-one. By the time I sold my house, she was down to her very last home. Crazy! Like, how could one ever expect to do better at the casinos than to have seven homes free and clear? But when she is broke and busted, I'm sure that the casinos will remember her and comp her meals since here $500/mo social security check won't cut it. NOT! I guarantee that if one plays long enough, then the mathematical laws of probability will spank your arse. sorry.gif
