Spidey 14 crash coming???

My vote is for 28. And 6 also

I will give you that #6 is hard to find in high grade but if you count high grade as 9.0 and higher than #28 is offered four times as much as #11. There is no real comparison here. sign-rantpost.gif

I will give you that #6 is hard to find in high grade

This issue pops up in 9.0 or better at least once every two months. #6 and #8 are the easiest to find in high grade in the 1 to 10 run...at least three 9.4s, two 9.0s, and one 9.6 have sold at auction this year, and this has been a rather slow year for early Silver surfacing to market. There's a 9.4 and 9.6 on ComicLink right now. Doesn't sound like a ton, but compared to the others from one to ten, it's plentiful, and compared to JIM, Hulk, and Fantastic Four, it's a cornucopia.

You rarely see #3, #5, #7, #11, or Annual #1 for sale above 9.0. I've only seen one Annual #1 above 9.0 for sale publicly since CGC started, and that was on ComicLink...I've never seen one on ebay.

What about the #22? I don't see that one very often in HG.

Not hard up to 9.2, but above that, you're right, it's less available than a lot of other early Spideys. There's a MUCH tougher one with a higher number (not 28) that I don't want to mention for fear I won't get the next copy that comes up for sale! The one I'm thinking of doesn't come up in 9.0 or better any more frequently than every 6 months, sometimes less frequently than that.

I had a copy of #31 CGC 9.0 with ow/w pages back in the first year of CGC and sold it for quite a profit. I hope you guys arn't talking about #31 because maybe I should have held on to it frown.gif I have a fear you are though because I don't see it offered in 9.0+ very often. Hey FF Pm me and LMK don't worry I don't really collect ASM.

#31 can be found, you'll just have to pay a lot for it. I think I know of two dealers both who have 9.4's. My guess is that FF is talking about a specific black cover book which is immediately followed by one of the easiest S.A. ASM's to find.

As you well know, virtually any ASM can be found in grades of 9.4 and under if you make enough inquiries and serious offers, but some just come up a lot less than others.

I assume you're talking about #37. I don't think that's the one he's refering to. He's talking about a book that's tough in 9.0+, and seldom seen, and there have been a handful of 9.0 and 9.2 copies of #37 up and around lately. There were 2 9.2's on Comic Link, and a couple of 9.0's or 9.2's recently on Ebay. There's also a 9.4 that Mark Wilson currently has on his site.

James is talking about #31. I would bet money on it.

37? That's not a very tough book either. However, I guess it did fit the description as 38 is fairly common. But still, not it.

And I agree, just about everything (with exception to G.A. books) can be found... that is, if you are REALLY willing to pay.

Ahhh, you're talking about #63, right? You must be, as it's a black cover and followed by THE most common S.A ASM.
