This I kinda like, although it's not from one of my favorite Marvel eras.

Amazing Spider-Man 268 and the two-cover spread with Web of Spider-Man 6

An element cover story! The Awesome Disco-Man turns a skyscraper into gold and it buckles. I wonder what that much gold would do the the world economy, not to mention the cost of gold-based pharmaceuticals.

Superman 268 -- eh copy of an eh cover.

Didn't Flash use essentially the same cover 10 or 20 times?

Maybe the idea of a Wild Weekend with Batgirl was supposed to sell the issue to drooling fanboys.

I have that issue of 'Web', but I never realized the cover connection with ASM. Thanks for putting that together.

DETECTIVE268F.jpg

Curt Swan just did not draw a good Batman. Tiny ears, flabby chin, gut, short stubby legs...yeesh.

Not only that, his attempt at the Robin corner shock pose is an epic fail. :(

Heheh

"Robin corner indifference pose"

Kind of like that faux cover of Action 1 someone posted. What it Lethargic Comics?
