I'm cool with the idea that SMT will never be adapted to the silver screen. Its a really great comic, and I'll happily enjoy it in that format again and again!

Actually I can't think of a single comic i'd love to see adapted to film - even though they are both visual, they are quite different in the manner they are consumed - even animated versions are an apples to oranges comparison. I'm not all that concerned about "faithful" adaptations anyway - what I want is a good movie - regardless of the source or the filmakers' adherence to it.
